TECHNOVORE – Accessibility Statement #
Version 2.0 — 29 September 2026
The internet should be for everyone. Although we are far from perfect, we are always working
towards a more inclusive and accessible internet. This is our commitment.
TECHNOVORE is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are
continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility
standards.
Conformance status #
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and
developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of
conformance: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA.
TECHNOVORE’s website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 at Level AA.
Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the
accessibility standard. We are working through known issues (listed below) and will update this
statement as progress is made.
Date of assessment: 29 September 2026
Last reviewed: 29 September 2026
Next scheduled review: by 29 March 2027 (or sooner if significant changes are made to the
site).
What we are doing #
- Applying WCAG 2.1 AA as our working standard for all new content and features.
- Testing pages for colour contrast, keyboard navigation and screen-reader compatibility.
- Ensuring images, where meaningful, carry appropriate alt text.
- Reviewing third-party plugins and embedded content for accessibility where we control them.
- Considering WCAG 2.2 as it becomes the prevailing standard.
Known limitations #
We are aware that some areas of the site may not yet be fully accessible:
- Older content and documents — some legacy pages or files may predate our current
standards and may not be fully compliant. - Third-party embedded content — videos, maps and other embedded content may not fully meet
our standards because we do not control the provider. - Form elements — some legacy form fields may have incomplete labels or focus states.
- reCAPTCHA — the spam-protection widget is provided by Google and has its own
accessibility characteristics; an accessible alternative contact route is always available
by email or phone (below).
If you find anything that does not work for you, please tell us – we will do our best to fix it
or provide an accessible alternative.
Feedback and support #
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the TECHNOVORE website. If you encounter an
accessibility barrier, or need any content in a different format (large print, plain text,
accessible PDF, etc.), please contact us:
- Email: hello@technovore.co.uk (or rob@technovore.co.uk for privacy-related matters)
- Phone: 01752 717090
- Write: TECHNOVORE, Fairbairn House, Higher Lane, Plymouth PL1 2AN
We aim to respond within 5 working days and to resolve accessibility issues within a
reasonable timescale, taking into account the nature and complexity of the request. We will
always provide an accessible alternative – such as a phone call or a text version of the
content — while a fix is being prepared.
Enforcement #
Under the Equality Act 2010, we aim to make reasonable adjustments to ensure our services
are accessible to disabled people. This statement sets out our commitment to meeting that aim.
If you are unhappy with our response to an accessibility complaint, you can escalate the matter
to the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS):
- Phone: 0808 800 0082
- Web: equalityadvisoryservice.com
(Note: the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 apply to public sector bodies;
TECHNOVORE is a private business, but we voluntarily follow the same standards and approach.)
