How Can We Help?
What do I need to give you for you to take over and manage my website for me?
In order for TECHNOVORE to take on the maintenance and management of your site there are a number of things we need. We have compiled them into a handy list below separated out by where the site is hosted.

But why do you need these things we here you ask! Lets go through a simple explanation.
Nameserver Access/Registrar Access
When managing your site, it may be necessary from time to time to move your site from one server to another, or update the way your emails are handled. As a general rule we will point the nameserver your site is using to one of our servers and manage the records from there. This means if your domain name is sitting with your registrar, it can stay there and we don’t have to bother you to make minor changes to enable us to do our job.
If we registered the site name for you or are managing it on your behalf, you don’t need to do anything, we have it covered!
Cpanel Access
Your Cpanel is the control room of your website. From it, you can create email addresses, make backups, configure SSL certificates, install new programs, monitor bandwidth usage and much much more. We need access to Cpanel to be able to manage a number of elements of your site.
If your site is hosted with us, we already have administration access to your Cpanel and can take care of anything we need. Relax!
Website Admin Credentials
In order to manage your site we need to be able to access it. Typically if your site is built in WordPress this means simply creating a new user with administrator privileges. This allows us to login, update and install any plugins and keep an eye on the health of your site.
If we built your site for you, we probably already have this level of access. Lets chat and make sure!
Plugin Licence Keys
If your site has paid plugins and you have the licence keys for them, we will need to keep a secure list of those keys. In the case that a site needs to be updated, reinstalled or changed for example. We will need to be able to make sure that your site isn’t affected at all and we need to have those keys on hand, just in case!
If we built your site for you then we are likely in possession of the information already and it would form part of your website handover documentation.
